There’s something special about firsts — first steps, first jackets, first shoots. For Fille Garçon, our first-ever location shoot took us to the dreamy pastures of Petlake Alpacas in the New Forest, and we couldn’t have picked a better backdrop to begin telling our story.

Nestled among open skies, muddy boots, and curious alpacas with eyelashes for days, we brought our little adventurers to life. The contrast of soft woolly noses and sharp leather jackets was almost too perfect — a little rugged, a little tender, just like the kids who wear our pieces.

It wasn’t just about clothes on kids. It was about spirit. The way they ran through the fields without hesitation. Climbed fences. Got dirty. Laughed loud. Our jackets held their own — windproof, stomp-proof, full of personality and promise.

Petlake Alpacas gave us space to roam, to explore, and to shoot something that felt real. Not polished, but full of energy — the way childhood should be. We’ll never forget it.
