There are photoshoots… and then there are the ones that feel truly unforgettable.

Our photoshoot with Lucia Williams last spring took us to the rolling hills and dramatic coastline of Northern Wales — a landscape that feels wild, cinematic, and completely alive. From golden sunshine pouring across the cliffs to moody skies and sudden rain sweeping in from the sea, the weather gave us every season in one day (as Wales often does).

And honestly? It was perfect.

Because while the sunshine brought out the richness and texture of our leather dungarees and jackets, the wind and rain revealed something even more important: our leatherwear is built for real adventures — the kind that don’t stop just because the forecast changes.

Leather made for all terrains, all weathers

At Fille Garçon, we love creating pieces that are beautiful, but also practical — designed to be lived in, played in, and passed through seasons. Northern Wales became the ultimate backdrop to show that our leather isn’t just for styling… it’s for life.

Leather is naturally:

• Temperature regulating — comfortable in the sunshine, without overheating

• Wind resistant — shielding little ones from coastal gusts

• Insulating — keeping warmth in when the cold rolls in

• Wipe clean — because mud and adventure go hand in hand

No one wants children getting soaked through — but what we loved about this shoot is that it showed how our leather can hold its own through shifting conditions. It’s not precious, it’s protective. It’s made to move.

Capturing the spirit of the brand

We love working with Lucia, not only because her photography is stunning, but because she has a gift for capturing something deeper — the spirit of Fille Garçon. The confidence, the freedom, the individuality. The in-between moments that feel effortless and real.

Whether the models were sun-drenched on the hills or bracing against the rain by the coastline, Lucia’s lens captured it all beautifully — and brought the story of the collection to life in the most magical way.

Northern Wales gave us the backdrop. Lucia gave us the feeling. And the leather did exactly what it was made to do.

And of course, a huge thank you to our gorgeous models — Lyra, Amelia, Jessica and Ray — who brought so much personality, energy and confidence to the day. From sunshine to wind and rain, they wore every piece so effortlessly and made the whole shoot feel full of joy, spirit and adventure.
